Congress Government Responsible for Deaths of Street Vendors- Dhillon, Gosha

Ludhiana,March 14, Channel88 News (Buero):- The Shiromani Akali Dal district President Ranjit Singh Dhillon and Youth Akali Dal district President Gurdeep Singh Gosha visited the family member of street vendor who committed suicide. The Akali Dal leader shared sympathy with the family members of Sachbir Singh.

Ranjit Singh Dhillon and Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that Sachbir Singh used to sell garments accessories in Akalgarh market but the Police didn’t allow him to sell the items in the area and Sachbir Singh committed suicide.  He was in depression after he become unemployed. 

Ranjit Singh Dhillon and Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that Police has started anti encroachment drive without making any policy for street vendors. Shiromani Akali Dal is protesting and demanding vendors zone but the Congress Government, Municipal Corporation and Ludhiana Police has no concern about the street vendors. Due to the lack of policy, the street vendors are committing suicide and Congress Government is responsible for it.

The Shiromani Akali Dal leaders said that more street vendors are ready to end the life but the Congress Government has no time to solve the problems. 

Councillor Manpreet Singh Manna, Kamaljit Singh Nikku, Randhir Singh Laddi, Pamma Oberoi, Maninder Singh emmy and others joined to share sympathy with the family.
